Saxophonist and Singer Madelaine Kaindl wins Ö1 Jazz Scholarship 2021

JAM student Madeleine Kaindl wins Ö1 scholarship for a two-year master study in Jazz at JAM MUSIC LAB Private University.

Madeleine Kaindl, born in Linz in 1994, studied jazz saxophone at the Anton Bruckner Private University from 2010 and later at the Music and Art Private University in Vienna and at the Jam Music Lab. Permanently resident in Vienna since autumn 2016, Kaindl works as a tenor saxophonist and vocalist in several of her own bands. Kaindl would describe himself as an empathetic, open, respectful, humorous, peaceful, creative, patient, social, goal oriented and critical person.


Her most recent project is dedicated to the music of the German singer-songwriter Hildegart Knef. Her album “ALLES OR NOTHING” – A HOMAGE TO HILDEGARD KNEF” was produced by US pianist and arranger Rob Bargad, and released by the Austrian label Hoanzl. http://www.madeleine-joel.com
